The Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic would like to announce the release of the new SWAT Check-In application set to replace the Check-In and MAC ticketing process currently in ITSM Remedy. This cut over will take place on October 1, 2021.NIWC Atlantic will use the SWAT Check-In Application to support personnel joining the NIWC Atlantic team, including government civilian, military, and contractor personnel. This application also supports the addition or update of new accounts, resources, and/or services, and changes to personal, employment, and contract information.The Check-In application will replace the Check-In and Move Add Change (MAC) request process in ITSM. All other incident requests and activities will continue to be processed through ITSM. Active instances in ITSM will not be transitioned into SWAT and should be monitored through ITSM until those instances are completed.In anticipation of this go live date, and to make this transition as smooth as possible, we have attached access instructions to walk users through the process of obtaining access to the new tool. All personnel needing access to the Check-In application should complete these instructions before the go-live date. Once the new tool is live, you will not be able to submit a new ITSM Remedy request after this date.Further information about the tool such as training videos, the schedule for the live training events, user guide, and updates will soon be communicated to
