The City of Lewisville is receiving qualifications from qualified firms to perform flood modeling services and depth analyses for a variety of flooding scenarios affecting the City. This work is considered as Phase 2 of a project currently underway that has been funded by the Homeland Security Grant Program's Urban Area Security Initiative grant. Phase 1 consists of the acquisition of current elevation data using Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR).
