The National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism is planning to issue an RFP for a contract for the Management, Development, and Publication of Alcohol Research: Current Reviews. This will be a Full and Open Competition. This acquisition is for a new requirement and is anticipated to be for base plus options contract. The purpose of this acquisition is to provide support services for the management, development, and publication of the Alcohol Research: Current Reviews (https://www.arcr.niaaa.nih.gov/). In support of its mission, NIAAA publishes Alcohol Research: Current Reviews, an online, open access, peer-reviewed journal that is composed of review articles on alcohol research topics. Areas of interest include the effects of alcohol across the lifespan on health, function, and well-being in addition to the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of alcohol misuse and related consequences. Topics are approached from basic, translational, and clinical perspectives. Reviews are written in a style accessible to scientists, clinicians, and trainees with varying specialties and degrees of expertise in the alcohol field.The RFP will be made available electronically via the Contracting Opportunities portion of the beta.sam.gov website (https://beta.sam.gov).   Offerors are responsible for routinely checking the beta.sam.gov website for any possible solicitation amendments that may be issued.
