Qualifications: Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier’s check or draft in the amount of five percent (5%) or a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the amount of the TOTAL BID in manner and form as by law provided. The sum of a certified check, cashier’s check or draft or bid bond is a guarantee that, if the proposal is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its performance properly secured. Special Requirements: ADDENDUM No. 1 This ADDENDUM NO. 1 hereby revises the Contract Documents. Revisions made herein hall become a binding part of the Contract Documents. The following are clarifications: 1. The City will be responsible for running all utilities to the building including the electric, water and sewer and regrading and reseeding all areas disturbed by this work. 2. Third party inspections will not be necessary, but material certifications must be presented. 3. Ceilings shall be 5/8” moisture resistant drywall taped and smooth finished for paint application. 4. Interior finish on walls and ceiling shall be primer and two coats of epoxy paint. Color chosen by Owner. 5. Interior floor finish shall be rolled on epoxy with chips for a nonslip finish. Color chosen by Owner. 6. Board and batten siding to be prefinished. Color chosen by Owner. 7. Roof decking to be T & G Sheathing. Miscellaneous: The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to defer acceptance of any bid for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days after the date bids are received and no bid may be withdrawn during this period.
