Chippewa County Highway Department Security Improvements and Office Remodel
Project Description: The project consists of general construction including metal stud and gypsum board walls, wood doors and hollow metal frames, acoustical ceilings, floor and wall finishes, HVAC, hydronic piping, low voltage cabling, lighting and electrical work at the second floor of the Chippewa County Highway Department Building. Additional scope includes new security cameras, door access and door hardware at outlying buildings on the Highway Department campus.
Bid Submittal Deadline: 1:00 p.m. (CST), Thursday, November 11, 2021

Sealed Bids for the project designated above will be received on behalf of Chippewa County, hereinafter referred to as the Owner, at the location listed above, on or before the above mentioned time and date, at

Bid Submittal Deadline: 1:00 p.m. (CST), Thursday, November 11, 2021

Sealed Bids for the project designated above will be received on behalf of Chippewa County, hereinafter referred to as the Owner, at the location listed above, on or before the above mentioned time and date, at
which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud.
Bids shall be on the forms provided for that purpose and according to the Contract Documents. Bids shall be securely sealed and endorsed upon the outside wrapper “ Bid for Chippewa County Highway Department Security Improvements and Office Remodel ".
A mandatory pre-bid meeting for all bidders will be held on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the Chippewa County Highway Department. Contractors shall meet outside the front entry.
No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 30 Days after the date and time set for the opening of bids. Project completion shall be no later than July 31, 2022.
Paper copies of the Bidding Documents will be available Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at the Highway Department office in the Chippewa County Highway Department, 801 E Grand Avenue, Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. Digital copies of the Bidding Documents will be available from the Chippewa County website BID and RFP page. The link is located at the top of the front page under “ BID and RFP”.
Chippewa County reserves the right to reject any and all bids, without cause, or accept the bid that is in the best interest of Chippewa County.
