TOWNSHIP OF EWING COUNTY OF MERCER REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the Township of Ewing, Ewing Township Municipal Building, 2 Jake Garzio Dr., Ewing, New Jersey, 08628, in the office of the Municipal Clerk, until 11:00 A.M., prevailing local time, on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, and will be publicly opened and read immediately thereafter in the Ewing Township Council room for the following: RECONSTRUCTION OF THE EWING SENIOR AND COMMUNITY CENTERS POOLS Bids must be submitted on standard proposal forms which, together with the specifications, may be obtained at the office of the Municipal Clerk, at the above address or on the Township website, www.ewingnj.org. *All Addendums will be issued on the website. Therefore, all interested respondents should check the website from now through Bid opening. It is the sole responsibility of the respondent to be knowledgeable of all

addendums related to this procurement. All bids must be sealed in an envelope and plainly marked Reconstruction of the Ewing ESCC Pools" and addressed to the Township of Ewing at the above address, c/o, Municipal Clerk. Bids must be in duplicate Each bidder must state the total price of his or her bid. Each bidder must enclose with his or her bid a certified check or bid bond for the (10) percent of the amount of the bid payable to the Township of Ewing as a guarantee that he or she will execute a valid contract in accordance with the bid and that he or she will furnish services, labor and/or materials bid as and when required under the bid and for the price quoted in the bid. The checks of all unsuccessful bidders will be returned after the contract is awarded. Each bidder must provide along with their bid, a copy of their BUSINESS REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE, as per State Bill C57, effective September 1, 2004. THE TOWNSHIP COUNCIL OF THE TOWNSHIP OF EWING RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REJECT ANY AND ALL BIDS, OR TO WAIVE ANY AND ALL DEFECTS AND/OR INFORMALITIES IN ANY BID, SHOULD IT DEEM THE SAME TO BE IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE TOWNSHIP OF EWING.
