DescriptionManhattan/PostL is the Construction Manager for the City of DeSoto’s McCowan Aquatics & Recreation Center – a new two-story activity center featuring a leisure pool, competition pool, gymnasium, and other health and wellness amenity spaces. The project is slated to break ground in May of 2024 with a construction schedule of 19 months. Manhattan/PostL’s stated M/WBE participation goal for this project is 30%. Bids from qualified subcontractors will be accepted for scopes pertaining to site work, concrete and steel structure, exterior and interior finishes, aquatics systems, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.Please note the key dates below: A virtual, non-mandatory pre-bid will be hosted on Tuesday, 4/2.
