GIS Database System RFI

Buyer Contact: Eric Glaubman eglaubman@dot.ga.gov Description: This electronic Request for Information (eRFI) is being issued to solicit information from interested suppliers with respect to creating a centralized Utility geodatabase leveraging the Department enterprise IT and GIS platforms as further described in this eRFI. GDOT will use the information generated by this eRFI in conjunction with other information available to GDOT to determine the solution that it is in the best interest of GDOT to fulfill this need. The purpose of this eRFI is to find a method to store and consolidate current utility data and maintain new utility data by integrating current information within GDOT application/systems to the Department enterprise GIS platform. GDOT desires to identify what solutions and suppliers currently exist in the marketplace to meet GDOT needs. This RFI will assist GDOT in further defining requirements, budget, and implementation plans. Potential suppliers may be notified by GDOT to participate in future solicitations which may lead to a contract with GDOT for implementation.
