Centre Building to be located at the southeast corner of the Sunset Community Centre. The building will be adjacent to the existing park space to the east and the existing parking lot to the west, in the Sunset neighbourhood of Vancouver. Interested parties (“Respondents”) are required to respond to this RFEOI in accordance with the instructions set forth in this RFEOI. The RFEOI will be administered through this website (JAGGAER) that is the City’s electronic procurement portal (the “Supplier Portal”). Expressions of Interest may only be submitted via the Supplier Portal in the format requested by the City. Each Proponent is solely responsible for reviewing and complying with any Supplier Portal terms and conditions which apply to and govern the use of the Supplier Portal. If there is any inconsistency or conflict between the provisions of this RFEOI and the Supplier Portal terms and conditions, then the provisions of this RFEOI will govern. 2.0 Background The new 'Sunset Seniors Centre' will be a one-storey addition located at the southeast corner of the Sunset Community Centre. The building will be adjacent to the existing park space to the east and the existing parking lot to the west. 3.0 Scope of Work Based on the outcome of this RFEOI, a number of General Contractors will be shortlisted and invited to respond to an Invitation to Tender (“ITT”) for the construction of the Sunset Seniors Centre Building. 4.0 Description of Products and Services The City seeks Expressions of Interest from Respondents who have expertise in construction on the following: The rectangular building addition is approximately 11,000 square feet in building footprint. As per the detailed building program below, the Seniors Centre will be comprised of multipurpose rooms, a commercial kitchen, and exterior courtyard. Gross Floor Area – Approx. 11,000 square feet. 5.0 Anticipated Period of Issuance of ITT: June 2024 6.0 Site Description The new 'Sunset Seniors Centre' will be a one-storey addition located at the southeast corner of the Sunset Community Centre.
