The County of Riverside Purchasing Department on behalf ofthe Department of Public Social Services (DPSS) is seeking proposals from qualified parties to perform the duties and responsibilities of a designated Child Abuse Prevention Council (CAPC), for the County of Riverside’s Department of Public Social Services. Child abuse prevention coordinating councils (also known as CAPCs) are intended to be community councils whose primary purpose is to coordinate the community’s efforts to prevent and respond to child maltreatment. Primary prevention activities can include strategies such as media and education campaigns to build community awareness. Prevention practices, services, and supports can be the key to keeping families intact and children safe during challenging times. The County of Riverside has the right to award this bid among multiple bidders. In the event of multiple awards, successful bidders will be required to collaborate with each awarded bidder.
