Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source- Solicitation W912EE18T0028The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers- Vicksburg District (MVK), has a requirement for two new Caterpillar C18 ACERT TIER III 600 Horsepower Marine Propulsion Diesel Engines with install for Motor Vessel (M/V) Strong.In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, intends to award a sole source purchase order to H&H Marine Services, 95 Graceland Circle, Vicksburg, MS, for the supply and furnishing of two new Caterpillar C18 ACERT TIER III 600 Horsepower Marine Propulsion Diesel Engines with install for the Motor Vessel (M/V) Strong under the authority of FAR 19.1406, Sole Source Awards to Service-disabled Veteran-owned Small Business Concerns.A copy of the Justification and Approval for Other Than Full and Open Competition is attached.This is not a Request for Quote (RFQ) and no solicitation is available for this procurement.
