The City of North Bay is seeking proposal submissions from Financial Institutions and Merchant Service companies to provide comprehensive banking services with transition estimated to begin January 1, 2019 and with full implementation completed by March 1, 2019.
It is expected that proposals be submitted by Schedule 1 financial institutions charted under the Canadian Bank Act and if they do not provide Merchant Services themselves, to identify a partner within their submission which would provide merchant service. Submissions from proponents providing only Banking services, or only Merchant Services will not be considered.
It is the City’s intention to enter into separate agreements for Banking Services with one (1) legal entity and Merchant Services with one (1) legal entity.
Time Line
The term of the agreements are to be for a period of five (5) Years, with an option in favour of the City to extend the agreements for two (2) additional
terms of up to five (5) years each upon satisfactory negotiations of all parties.
The top-ranked proponent will receive a written invitation to enter into direct contract negotiations to finalize the agreement with the City.
Delivery of Proposals
Proposals in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the RFP No. and Title, will be received in the City of North Bay Purchasing Department, Main Floor, City Hall, 200 McIntyre St. E., North Bay, Ontario, P1B 8H8 until 1:00 p.m. local time on Monday October 22, 2018.
