A. SUMMARY NOTICE 1. Subject Matter of Procurement Procurement Name: Household Hazardous Waste Collection Program Procurement Number: COSe23-0325 Procurement Description: The City of Saskatoon (City) is seeking a qualified proponent to operate the Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Collection Program which provides safe disposal of hazardous waste to Saskatoon residents. The program consists of up to 9 single-day HHW collection events between July and November 2023. The City of Saskatoon has a responsibility to safely dispose of

hazardous waste as well as provide opportunities for residents to safely dispose of household hazardous waste (HHW) and educate on the environmental implications of waste and recycling practices. One of the ways in which the City facilitates this is through the HHW Collection Program. The City has coordinated this program with a private contractor since 2006. This RFP and the proposal submitted by the successful proponent will be combined with any subsequent negotiated items between the two parties to form the basis for a Contract between the City and the successful proponent. 2.
