Port of Bellingham - BLI Commercial Terminal Rooftop Solar Notice is hereby given that sealed bids for the BLI Commercial Terminal Rooftop Solar project located in Bellingham, Washington will be received at the Administrative Offices of the Port of Bellingham, 1801 Roeder Avenue, Bellingham, Washington until 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 7, 2024. The official time shall be taken from the designated clock at the Administrative Offices. Any bids received after the specified time and date will not be considered. Bids will then and there be publicly opened and read aloud. Solicitation documents are available to view and download on our website at https://www.portofbellingham.com/bids.aspx. The scope of work for this project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the project identified above including the following major work items: • Solar Installation A non-mandatory

pre-bid conference for prospective bidders will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. and will begin at the Airport Modular Building, located adjacent to 4255 Mitchell Way, Bellingham, WA 98226. Parking for this meeting will be made available in the gravel lot next to the building. Opportunity to inspect the project site will be given immediately following the Pre-Bid Meeting. The project site is located within the restricted area of the airport, and no other access to this area will be granted outside of this time prior to contract execution. Engineers estimate: $381,000.00. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check, money order, or an original signed and stamped surety bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid, made payable to the Port of Bellingham. Any and all questions related to this project must be submitted via email prior to 4:00 PM, local time, on Friday, April 26, 2026. No questions will be accepted after that time. The Port of Bellingham reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities.
