All bidders and any other interested people are invited to watch the live bid opening via Zoom. Late submittals will not be considered.Whatcom County Public Works requests bids for the Holeman Avenue Stormwater Improvements project. This project provides for the repair and upgrade of an existing stormwater conveyance system on Holeman Avenue near Bellingham, Washington to reduce the frequency and amount of localized flooding in the
area. The conveyance system will be upsized and a French drain will be added parallel to the storm system to intercept shallow groundwater that would otherwise flow to the steep bluff north of Holeman Avenue. All facilities will be installed in the public right-of-way or easements. The installed facilities include approximately 878 LF of storm pipe, 525 LF of French Drain, and 11 catch basins including associated restoration, and other work, as further described in the bid documents.
