General work description: VTA seeks proposals from qualified firms to perform an independent audit of the most recent actuarial valuation for the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority – Amalgamated Transit Union (SCVTA-ATU), Local 265 Pension Plan (“Pension Plan”) and a review of the actuarial methodology in the form of a parallel valuation including a review of the current actuarial assumptions, the methodology used in setting those assumptions, and an analysis and discussion of any significant differences found during the course of the audit (“Services”).
