Special NoticeRequest for Information/Capability Session Question & AnswerEmployee Assistance Program (EAP) 202022 April 2020This posting is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is currently available.NAICS Code: 624190Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) help employees and their families handle personal problems that may adversely impact their work performance, health and well-being. These programs focus on substance abuse, workplace issues, mental health, personal problems and traumatic events. EAPs generally include short-term counseling and referral services for employees and their household members.This requirement was previously solicited and awarded by the Department of Health and Human Services & Federal Occupational Health. On 6 September 2019, in accordance with the 1 July 2019 Waiver to Section 801 of the NDAA for Fiscal Year 2008, Federal Occupational Health terminated their support to the EAP contract and the Air Force assumed the EAP requirement
and the Navy awarded a sole source, IDIQ contract to the incumbent. The Air Force issued a task order against the base IDIQ with a period of performance from 10 November 2019 to 30 September 2020.The Air Force previously requested identification of sources that can compete for the EAP requirement in a future acquisition and participation in a SurveyMonkey request for information. Subsequent capability sessions were held with interested vendors. Questions resulting from the request for information and capability sessions were compiled and addressed accordingly. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice.
