Dear Bidder: The City of Berkeley is soliciting invitations for bid for the purchase of Solid Waste Metal Containers (front & rear loading). The specifications and selection process are summarized in this invitation for bid (IFB). Bids must be received no later than 2:00 PM on Tuesday, July 11, 2023. Bids are to be sent via email with the “ Specification No. 23-11611and “ Solid Waste Metal Containers (Front & Rear Loading).” Clearly indicated on the subject line of the email. Incomplete bids and bids which do not conform to the requirements specified herein, will not be considered. Issuance of the IFB does not obligate the City to award a contract, nor is the City liable for any costs incurred by the bidder in the preparation and submittal of bids for the subject work. The City retains the right to award all or parts of this contract to several bidders, to not select any bidders, and/or to re-solicit proposals. The act of submitting a bid is a declaration that the bidder has read the IFB and understands all the requirements and conditions.
