Coal St., Mexico MO 65265 Description: The City of Mexico, Missouri is requesting qualifications for engineering services to assist with its 2023-2028 Industrial Pretreatment Program. Qualifications shall be submitted no later than 2:00pm October 30 th, 2023 to the attention of Mexico’s Public Works Department at 300 N Coal St, Mexico, MO 65265. Projects include support of Mexico’s Industrial Pretreatment Program to keep all areas of this program in compliance with state permit requirements. This includes work to inspect industries, evaluate local limits, review ordinances, and more. The engineering services required may include travel to local industries, office visits, web conferences, and more to support Mexico’s Industrial Pretreatment Program. Facility plans and engineering reports should adhere to 10 CSR 20-8.110 Engineering –

Reports, Plans, and Specifications if appropriate. Qualification information provided to the City shall include:A. Experience and Technical Competence: The specialized experience and technical competence of the firm with respect to the type of services required (20 points);B. Capacity and Capability: The capacity and capability of the firm to perform the work in question, including specialized services, within the time limitations fixed for the completion of the project (25 points);C. Past Record of Performance: The past record of performance of the firm with respect to such factors as control of costs, quality of work, and ability to meet schedules (30 points);D. Proximity and Familiarity: The firm’s proximity to and familiarity with the area in which the project is located (25 points).Submittals: Firms interested in this Request for Qualifications shall submit a Letter of Intent (LOI) to the City of Mexico’s Engineering Division. The LOI may be no longer than 15 pages. This letter should include any information which might help in the selection process, such as the persons or team you would assign to this project, the backgrounds of those individuals, and other projects your company has recently completed or are now active. It is required that your firm’s Statement of Qualification (RSMo 8.285 through 8.291) be submitted with your firm’s Letter of Interest, or be on file with the City of Mexico, Missouri. The statement of qualification is not included in the total page count limit.Selection Process: Once the City selects the most qualified firm based on the above qualification evaluation, an engineering agreement will be negotiated.
