This is a sole source synopsis published for informational purposes only. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Purchase Order to upgrade necessry firmware previously developed, integrate into AFRL Kinetic Hardware-in-the-Loop (KHILS) facility, furnish any additional hardware/software necessary for integration into AFRL KHILS facility, perform functionallity testing for United States Air Force, AFRL/RW, Eglin AFB, FL 32542. Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems (RSAS), El Segundo, CA.The government intends for RSAS to due this work based on their development of the firmware under a previous contract effort. The government does not intend to compete the proposed contract action. Any information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitie procurement. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations. However, all responsible sources may provide a capability statement to be considered by the Government.In order to comply with FAR 5.207(c)(15), the reason for lack of competition is that RSAS developed the firmware under a previous contract.
