The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Armament Systems Development Division (AFLCMC/EBZ) is conducting market research on state-of-the-art GPS Controlled Radiation Pattern Antennas (CRPAs) and Height-of-Burst (HOB) Antennas to better characterize the technological, manufacturing, and business capabilities of the CRPA and HOB antenna development and industrial base to perform in expanded operational environments and envelopes. These antennas will be evaluated for use by merging weapons programs. This information will be used for planning purposes and with the vision of improving navigation performance in a GPS contested environment and terminal fusing.THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes. It does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This RFI does not commit the U.S. Government to contract for any supply or service. Moreover, AFLCMC/EBZ is not seeking proposals at this time, and it will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI. All costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the respondent party's expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if issued. BackgroundUnited Stated Air Force (AF) airborne weapon systems have come to rely heavily on GPS-aided navigation systems. As threats evolve, some operational scenarios may be GPS contested and may require improved CRPAs and HOBs to meet expanded operational environments and envelopes. The contents of the RFI are Distribution D (FOUO) . If you are a responsible and interested party please provide the Contracting Officer your Joint Certification Program number and once vetted, you will be sent the RFI
