The size standards in number of employees is 1,000.Description of Work:The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agriculture Research Service (ARS), Soil Dynamics Research Unit (SDRU), Auburn, Al location has a

requirement for a long read real time genome sequencer to be provided in strict accordance with attached Specifications document.Seeking contractor to provide the equipment that needs to be equivalent or near equivalent to the Oxford Nanopore GridION MK1 instrument in the following categories:The instrument has the capacity to directly measure nucleic acids (DNA and RNA) based on their direct interaction with a protein-based nanopore.The instrument provides real time acquisition and analysis of data as sample molecules are processed.The instrument provides long read genome sequence data with reads up to 4 Mbp.The instrument has the capacity to produce highly accurate genome sequence data at a quality score of Q20 greater than 99% accuracy.The instrument has the capacity to perform up to five sequencing experiments either concurrently or individually.The instrument is high throughput with yields of 250 Gb of sequencing data per run.Provides hands-on training.Provides 1-year warranty.Ship-to location:  USDA/ARS/SEA, Soil Dynamics Research Unit (SDRU), 990 Wire Road, Auburn, AL 36832.DOCUMENTS TO BE INCLUDED IN QUOTE: In order to be considered for award, Offerors shall respond by submitting:One (1) original fully completed and signed SF-18 (complete Blocks 13, 14, 15, and 16).Submit documentation showing technical capability to meet or exceed Performance Elements and Benchmarks in the Specification Sheet.Submit Firm Fixed Price quotation (quote on company letterhead) detailing the item description, total price and valid for at least 60 days after receipt of quote.
