ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Sealed Bids for the construction of the project titled: Deep Well & Chemical Feed Building, USDA CDFA No.: 10-760 will be received by the City of Pavo at City Hall 1010 East Harris Street (P.O. Box 157), Pavo, GA 31778, until 1:30 P.M. local time on Thursday July 9, 2020, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.

The Project consists of constructing a new deep well to the depth and diameter detailed in the project Specifications and Construction Plans and constructing a chemical feed building. The project shall include, but is not limited to, providing all labor, equipment and materials to construct the project including test well, pump, motor, valves, yard piping, painting, electrical, generator, video, logging and performing a 24-hour pump test, disinfection, driveway, fencing, site grading and all associated appurtenances required for a complete project. Minimum depth is expected to be ±500 feet.
Watkins & Associates, LLC, located at 103 W. 6th Street, Tifton, GA 31794, ph.: (229) 388-8823 is the Engineer and Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents.
A pre-bid conference will be held at Thursday, June 18, 2020 at the Peacock Center/ Holly Hobbs Park, 2061 McDonald Street, Pavo, GA 31778. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is highly encouraged but is not mandatory.
Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
Bidders must be Georgia Licensed Well Drillers. Bidders shall submit proof of qualification to perform the work as described in the Instructions to Bidders.
