Reflective Traffic Line Painting

TOWN OF SHREWSBURY Invitation to Bid Sealed bids are requested by the Town Manager for “Misc. Traffic Markings Painting” and “Reflective Traffic Line Painting” on road surfaces at various locations for a three year contract. Specifications may be obtained at the Highway Division office, 100 Maple Avenue, Shrewsbury, MA 01545 during normal business hours. Bids shall be sealed and appropriately marked “Misc. Traffic Markings Painting” and “Reflective Traffic Line Painting”, will be received in the Office of the Town Manager, 100 Maple Avenue, Shrewsbury, MA. 01545, until 10:00 a.m.,(Traffic Markings) and 10:30 a.m. (Traffic Line) on Wednesday, March 25, 2020, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud. The second and third year is contingent upon the Town appropriation for these periods. Attention is called to minimum wage rates to be paid on the work as determined by the Department of Labor Standards under the provisions of the Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149 Section 26 to 27H inclusive. All contractors involved with Reflective Traffic Line Painting shall be pre-qualified through the Massachusetts Department of Public Works. Contractors may be pre-qualified at the Massachusetts Department of Public Works, Room 7552, 10 Park Plaza, Boston, Massachusetts 02116. No bidder may withdraw his bid within (30) days after the date designated above for the filing of bids. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids, wholly or in part, and to accept any bid or part thereof deemed by it to be in the best interest of the Town. TOWN OF SHREWSBURY Kevin J.
