NOTICE TO BIDDERS
WAIHEE WELL #577 PUMP & MOTOR REPLACEMENT
WAIHEE, MAUI, HAWAII
IFB NO. DWSP 2021-37
Pursuant to Chapter 103D, Hawaii Revised Statutes, sealed bids shall be RECEIVED ELECTRONICALLY and recorded immediately via the Public Purchase System until 2:00 PM (Hawaii Standard Time), on AUGUST 19, 2021. Bids shall be submitted via the Public Purchase System, otherwise the bids shall not be opened or considered. Bids received after the date and time stated above will also not be considered.
The project involves furnishing all labor, tools, materials and equipment as necessary to remove existing pump and motors and provide and

install new pump and motor, and perform required startup procedures for final acceptance, in place complete.
A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 8:00 AM on JULY 26, 2021 via Blue Jeans teleconferencing. Following the meeting, at 10:00 AM a site visit will be conducted and interested parties shall meet at the project site in Waihee Well 577. Interested parties requesting to attend the meeting or site visit are required to provide notification of attendance by email to Dean.Tanimoto@co.maui.hi.us
Bid documents for this project are available through a web-based e-procurement system. To view and download bid documents you will need to follow instructions described at www.co.maui.hi.us/DocumentCenter/View/xxxxx. Bid documents will not be available at the Purchase Division offices.
Bidders shall possess a valid General Engineering “A” Contractor’s License, which shall be valid at the time of bid opening.
Bids must be accompanied by an acceptable form of bid security in amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount total sum bid, including additives, payable to the “County of Maui”, and in compliance with Section 103D-323, Hawaii Revised Statutes, as amended.
Bidders are required to comply with the newest procurement code Hawaii Revised Statutes Chapter 103D, any rules and regulations and policy directives issued with respect to Chapter 103D, and any amendments thereof.
