The awarded supplier will provide all hardware, software, licenses,
personnel for implementation services and training and software
maintenance to provide the concessions point of sale system described in
this RFP. The University requires complete on-site installation, on-site
training and complete implementation of the software.
 
SAES concessions sales average $2.5 million annually. We use
approximately 175 points of sale, consisting of mostly fixed units and
some wireless, offline and remote ordering units. The following list
identifies the major characteristics and capabilities we are looking for:
Cloud-based data storage and real time reporting services
App-based POS

software and task management
Real-time inventory management and control monitoring
Scalable for growth
Sales management with automated analytic reporting
Customer management to include loyalty programs and promotions
Staff management to include scheduling and time clock tracking
Third-party integration
High speed order processing
Simple to use and easy to train
Must be PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards) compliant
 
Currently Rice-Eccles Stadium hosts, on average, 6-7 Utah Football
games and 4-8 other large events. These events range in size from
15,000-50,000 guests.  We will be offering remote (in seat)
ordering for Football this fall.
 
Currently the Jon M. Huntsman Center hosts, on average, 20 Men’s
Basketball, 20 Women’s Basketball, 10 Volleyball, and 6 gymnastics
meets. Other large events include University Commencement and
convocations, high school graduations and sporting events and others.
These events range in size from 100-13,000 guests.
 
Currently the Ute Field and the Dumke Family Softball Stadium host, on
average, 10 Women’s Softball games, 16 Women’s Soccer Games
and 6 Men’s Lacrosse games.   These events range in size
from 50-250 guests.
