The Air Force intends to negotiate and award on a sole source basis with Sierra Nevada Corporation a new four year Tactical Systems Emulator development and sustainment Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity Firm Fixed Price contract. This will be a direct and immediate follow-on effort to an existing contract (FA7037-16-D-0007) which was also awarded to SNC via a non-competitive (sole source) firm fixed price contract.As this acquisition is for the continued performance of highly specialized equipment andservice(s) which form the Tactical System Emulator program award to any other source would result in substantial duplication of cost to the government that is not expected to be recovered through competition and unacceptable delays in fulfilling the Air Force's requirements.Please see attached 'Notice of Proposed Contract Action' for additional details related to this posting.Responsble sources may submit a capability statement NLT 30 days from the posting of
