Z--YOSE WAREHOUSE ROOF REPLACEMENT

This pre-solicitation notice of an upcoming solicitation. This is currently an unfunded requirement with a high expectation that funds will be available. If and when the funds become available, it is the Government's intention to make award. This procurement is a TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. The National Park Service, Pacific Regions 8, 9, 10, 12, San Francisco/Seattle Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue an Invitation for Bids for a firm fixed price construction contract for the Yosemite Warehouse Roof Replacement located at the El Portal Maintenance Complex within Yosemite National Park in El Portal, Mariposa County, California. The project is for the removal and replacement of an approximately 40,000 square feet warehouse roof membrane, remediation of any water damaged plywood sheathing, mold remediation, removal and disposal of a non-functioning obsolete photovoltaic system, as well as parapet wall sealing, replacement of roof drains, crickets, roof hatch, and other work included as options such as the replacement of skylights, HVAC evaporation cooling unit and metal flashing at existing HVAC units, and the removal and replacement of sealants on concrete tilt-up panel joints. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of this construction project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The performance period is 180 calendar days of receipt of Notice to Proceed. NAICS code is 238160 and the small business size standard $16.5 million. Options will be evaluated in accordance with provision 52.217-5. The basis of award will be based on the lowest responsive bid pursuant to FAR Part 14 and result in an award to the responsible bidder pursuant to FAR subpart 9.1.
