Residential Solid Waste Hauling and Disposal Services

INVITATION FOR BIDS RESIDENTIAL SOLID WASTE HAULING AND DISPOSAL SERVICES TAZEWELL COUNTY, VIRGINIA Tazewell County, Virginia is soliciting BIDS for services from qualified vendors with experience in solid waste hauling and disposal services. These services will be utilized to conduct door-to-door residential collection and disposal of solid waste within Tazewell County, Virginia, including incorporated towns within Tazewell County, Virginia, at the Tazewell County Landfill, located at 3013 Lynn Hollow Road, North Tazewell, VA 24630. The terms and conditions of this Invitation for Bids, all of which are material to this Invitation for Bids, are set forth at the official Tazewell County, Virginia website: https://tazewellcountyva.org/. Eight (8) copies of the bid should be submitted to the Tazewell County Administration Building, located at 197 Main Street, Tazewell, VA 24651 by 4:00 PM on March 29, 2024.

Bids must be submitted by sealed envelope marked “Residential Solid Waste Hauling and Disposal Services”. It is the intent of Tazewell County, Virginia to make an award to the successful vendor by July 1, 2024. Small businesses and businesses owned by women or minorities are encouraged to apply. Bidders shall comply with any and all national or state legislative, executive, and judicial orders or decrees prohibiting discrimination in employment regarding race, color, creed, national origin, gender, gender identification or preference, disability, or veterans’ status. Bidders shall certify that they do not maintain or provide for their employees any facilities that are segregated on the basis of race, color, creed, national origin, gender, gender identification or preference, disability, or veterans’ status. Tazewell County reserves the right to reject all bids; waive informalities; and contract with the applicant whose bid is in the best interests of Tazewell County, Virginia.
