AMENDMENT 002 - Makes the following changes:- Updates the wage determination to Wage Determination No.: 1976-1351, Revision No.: 66, 04/26/2022 (see attached)- Issues the maps in separate documents to better display in Avenza Maps (see attached)AMENDMENT 001 - Extends the response date to June 15, 2022 due to a closure to the project area until June 1, 2022. This gives interested contractors an opportunity to view the project site.Furnish all necessary materials, equipment, labor, supplies, and incidentals needed to perform the Box Creek Mechanical Thinning Contract. The project area is southwest of Leadville, CO, on NFSR 160.The intent of this project is to create a variety of patches of differing age and size classes in lodgepole pine, reduce lodgepole stocking levels to promote greater resistance to mountain pine beetle attack, reduce prevalence of dwarf mistletoe infection in lodgepole pine, and provide forest products for the public and commercial operators.Description of Work—The Box Creek Mechanical Thinning Project is part of the Box Creek Vegetation and Travel Management NEPA Project located on the Leadville Ranger District of the San Isabel National Forest, approximately 11.0 miles southwest of Leadville, Colorado. Land management objectives for the project area are summarized as follows:1. Improve Forest Health—Provide growing space for healthy trees and reduce fuel loadings.2. Utilize Timber or other products—Provide fuelwood resources to the public.3. Reduce hazardous fuels on National Forest System
