A voluntary site meeting is being conducted on March 21st, 2024, at 9:00 am at Fiona street and old airport road in Eagle Mountain, Utah 84005. Eagle Mountain City is requesting bids from responsible firms or individuals for a project called Old Airport Road Phase 2. The project is located on Old Airport Road (also known as Airport Road), north of Fiona Street and south of State Route 73. The work to be performed consists of furnishing and installing the equipment, facilities, services, and appurtenances thereto as included in the Contract Documents. The work generally includes, but is not limited to, the following: Construct approximately 10,100 linear feet of new two lane roadway on Airport Road from Fiona Street to approximately 1,650 feet south of SR-73, includes asphalt pavement, roadside ditch grading, topsoil/reseeding, adjusting several sewer manholes to grade, installing new RCP culverts with flared end sections, and replacing an existing pipe culvert with a 27’-11”x11’-1” Bridgecor box culvert with MSE welded wire headwalls with rock facing. Attention: Sealed bids for the Old Airport Road Phase 2 Project will be open until 12:00 p.m. Tuesday April 9th, 2024, at which time the proposals will be reviewed. Any bid received after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids will not be considered. ** Bid Bond for 5% of the total project required with the bidding documents** ** 100% Performance Bond will be posted by the approved contractor at contract signing ** ** 100% Payment Bond will be posted by the approved contractor at contract signing ** Opening of Bids: Bids will be opened on or around the bid closing date. Vendors who submit a bid will be notified of the results via email. The email will include a spreadsheet of all vendors and the amounts of the bids submitted for the project. Please include the name and email address of your contact person in the cover letter so we can send the notification of bid results. Bids will also be posted on Eaglemountaincity.org/purchasing. Once a vendor is chosen for the awarded contract all vendors will be notified of the vendor who will be awarded the contract.
