THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. This is not a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, bids, or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. Responses will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. This sources sought does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Responders are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this Sources Sought; all costs associated with responding to this Sources Sought will be solely at the interested party s expense. The VA Great Lakes Acquisition Center is seeking information about the availability of Specific Military Blood Bags and Solutions to provide Cryopreservation of Red Blood Cells located at the Capt. James Lovell Federal Health Care Center (FHCC) for a one-year supply
purchase. The anticipated NAICS Code is 339112. General Requirement Information: Glycerolyte 57% Solution in 500ml glass bottles. Each 100ml of Glycerolyte 57% Solution will contain: 57g Glycerin, 1.6g Sodium Lactate, 30mg Potassium Chloride buffered with 51.7mg Monobasic Sodium Phosphate (monohydrate), and 124.2mg Dibasic Sodium Phosphate (anhydrous). The approximant ph is 6.8 adjusted with phosphoric acid. This is a cryopreservative processing solution for manufacture of Frozen Red Blood Cells. The Military Quad BPU, P11240, 450 CPDA1 Sample Diversion SDS System, PL 146 Plastic blood bags are for the collection of whole blood units. Samplak System with Hinged Lid. Additional Information: No solicitations documents are available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, if a firm believes it can meet the requirements it must furnish information about its products and services, as well as references from other customers who are using these products and service, to the Contracting Officer by Friday, December 9th, 2022, at 1:00PM Local Time (CST). Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Information must be sent to the Contracting Officer at brandon.harris@va.gov to be considered. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. Confidentiality: No proprietary, classified, confidential, or sensitive information should be included in your response. The Government reserves the right to use any non-proprietary technical information in any resultant solicitation(s).
