Amendment 0001: added Pricing Sheet, updated PWS sections 5.2.3.5 and 5.2.4.5 to include tug boat verbiage, and attached questions and answers document. Tug boat verbiage added in PWS sections 5.2.3.5 and 5.2.4.5: Tug boats are required for entrance and exit of Port La and Port Moresby. Tugs will be utilized if current is above five knots.This requirement is full and open with no set asides. This requirement is for Ship's Agent and Husbandry services in support of LSV-3 in support of U.S. Army exercise Tamiok Strike 2023 at Port Moresby and Lae in Papua New Guinea. The service includes management / customs / integration / husbandry services, line handler services, pilot / port authority inetgration services, and trash removal. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision,and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform the role of Ships Agent, and accompanying tasks and crew logistics, as well
as to provide husbandry port services in support of the US Government vessel USAV SOMERVELL LSV3 in accordance with this PWS, paragraph 5’s specific tasks, and applicable technical exhibits. The contractor shall perform to the standards in this contract. Due to the variables at sea and during exercises, the contractor shall remain flexible to requested time or date changes and possible extensions of the period of performance; quantities may increase, as well. Any changes shall be bilateral in nature under 52.212-4 commercial contracting.The period of performance will be 11-16 August 2023.
