The goal is a highly memorable experience for all visitors while amplifying it’s overall mission of sustainability and it’s proud recognition as a Scenic City. The vision for each of these park projects, all while each is distinct, is to be highly cohesive and reinforce placemaking within the City of Princeton as a futuristic and forward planning brand of parks. Each park is to have signature components that are high in purposeful design

and functional use. Key considerations to be included are: modern & futuristic, simplistic and functional, outside of the box & non-traditional, zero-scape and low maintenance [planting & utilities], weather resilient and maintenance free, ample shading solutions, high-spectator visibility, landmark-focused, well-lit, unique, memorable & distinctive. Incorporating highly-modern, sophisticated and urban-based, rural design that captures first impressions as a blend of form & function. The city is in pursuit of a design team to assist with: 1. Planning of Parks & Recreation related landscape architectural masterplanning for various parks initiatives in addition to 2. Site planning efforts of a potential major economic sports | entertainment venue. More details in attached RFP.
