The Term of the Lease will be for an initial period of ten years, with two (2) renewal options for five (5) years. The renewal option is at the sole discretion of the Town. This solicitation has been issued by the authority granted to the Town by Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 30B, Uniform Procurement Act, Section 16, and a resulting lease must be awarded in accordance with the requirements of the Request for Proposal regarding Real Property Transactions. Proposers should familiarize themselves with the provisions of this Act.The RFP documents may be examined and obtained at the Town's website at

target="_blank">http://www.yarmouth.ma.us after 1:00 PM beginning March 25, 2024.Sealed proposals should be submitted in the required format(s) at the Office of the Town Administrator, Yarmouth Town Hall, 1146 Route 28, South Yarmouth, MA 02664, until 2:00 PM, April 10, 2024. The proposals will be opened publicly. Bids to lease the property must include a certified check made payable to the "Town Treasurer, Town of Yarmouth" in the amount of $5,000.00 as bid security. This must be submitted under a separate sealed cover marked "Bid Security." In the case of default, the surety shall be forfeited to the Town as liquidated damages. A minimum first year's lease payment will be forty-five thousand dollars.The Proposer (Tenant) shall obtain all permits and pay all costs associated with the tenant's equipment.The Town of Yarmouth reserves the right to reject any or all proposals that are not responsible and/or responsive, in whole or in part, as deemed in the best interest of the Town, in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws.
