City of Seabrook Request for Applications RFA# 2023-16 Depository Banking Services Notice is hereby given that the City of Seabrook is soliciting applications from eligible and qualified institutions within the State of Texas for the following: RFA# 2023-16: DEPOSITORY BANKING SERVICES Sealed applications will be received until 2:00 pm on July 6, 2023 at City of Seabrook City Hall, Attention: Gerald Pierce, Purchasing Coordinator, 1700 First Street, Seabrook, TX 77586. RFAs must be received and time stamped by the Purchasing Coordinator prior to the aforementioned time, after which time all qualified applications will be opened and read aloud at Seabrook City Hall. The City of Seabrook pays for good and services according to the provision of Chapter 2251 of the Government Code. The award of the Depository Bank Services contract is schedule for consideration by the City Council of Seabrook, at its regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at the City of Seabrook City Hall, Council Chambers, 1700 First Street, Seabrook, Texas 77586. PUBLISHED: June 8, 2023 June 15, 2023 INTENT: The City of Seabrook (the “City”)and its Component Units are soliciting applications, in accordance with provisions of Chapter 105 of the Texas Local Government Code, from eligible and qualified financial institutions (“Respondents”) to provide Depository Banking Services. The services provided will be in accordance with this Request for Application (the “RFA”) and attachments. The duration of this depository services contract will be for a term of five (5) years with services to begin October 1, 2023 and extend through September 30, 2028. Through this contract, the City intends to minimize banking costs, improve operational efficiency, and maximize its investment capabilities. This RFA represents the City’s cash management goals, specifies all required qualifications, the depository services required, the estimated activity volumes on all accounts, the method of compensation, submission instructions and contract award provisions. Institutions responding to this RFA must be insured through the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), and must be able to demonstrate a capacity to meet the City’s requirements stated in the RFA. All of the service categories will be evaluated individually. The City’s intention, however, is to select one (1) institution to provide as many of the depository services to the City as practicable.
