Slides.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------SYNOPSIS-GENERALDocument Type: Pre-solicitation Notice Solicitation Number: W50S9322B0001Classification Code Z – Z2AZ – Repair Or Alteration Of Other Administrative Facilities and Service BuildingsSet Aside: Total 100% Small BusinessNAICS Code: 236220- Commercial and Institutional Building ConstructionEstimated Project Magnitude between $100,000 and $250,000.00156th Airlift Wing, at the Muniz Air National Guard Base, Carolina, Puerto Rico intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) to award a single firm fixed- price contract for services, non-personal, to provide all plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, appliances and supervision necessary for the repair and restoration of Vehicle Maintenance Building #100 at 156 WG Muñiz Air National Guard Base (ANGB), Carolina, Puerto Rico (PR) per provided specifications and drawings covering an area of approximately 7,500SF.Building 100 is a metal one-story structure constructed as an open space building for Vehicle Maintenance. This facility has not received any significant upgrades in many years. The primary purpose of the project is to repair this facility for Vehicle Maintenance R-11 repairs. This will require some repairs and upgrade to the some areas of the building envelope inside and outside, roof and partial interior of the building. electrical infrastructure (explosion proof electrical devices), Lighting distribution, Fire Alarm and Detection systems, new finishes inside and outside, doors, roof system, and exterior paint coating.  Construction/contract completion time is 150 days after notice to proceed to include inspection and punch lists.Your attention is directed to FAR Clause 52.219-14 (b)(4) Limitations on Subcontracting which states "By submission of an offer and execution of a contract, the Offeror /Contractor agrees that in performance of the contract in the case of a contract for Construction by a general contractors, the concern will perform at least 15 percent of the cost of the contract, not including the cost of materials, with its own employees" applies to this project.The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this work is 236220. The small business size standard is $39.5 million. This action is being procured as a 100% Total set aside for Small business concerns. Tentative date for a mandatory pre-bid conference/site visit is on-or about 22 August 22, 2022 at 10:00AM Bldg.25, Muniz Air National Guard Base, Carolina, PR.
