Description

Scope of Services
The City of Palm Springs is requesting proposals from qualified firms to provide the city with a service and support agreement for critical components of the Palm Springs International Airport’s Security Access Control System (SACS) and Video Management System (VMS). The scope of work will consist of providing routine and non-routine maintenance and support of all components identified in this RFP using appropriately trained and certified service technicians.

The term of the Contract shall be for Three (3) years with Two (2) One (1) year renewal extension option, for a total term not to exceed Five (5) years
Proposer’s Minimum Requirements:
A. Experience: The Proposer must have a minimum of 10 years’ experience supporting large airports support 4 million plus passengers per year.
B. Knowledge: The Proposer must have knowledge of expert knowledge of Genetec, Access Control Systems, Video Management Systems, Door and locking hardware, and Networking. Proposer must be Genetec certified.
C. Business License: The selected firm will be required to be licensed in accordance with the City of Palm Springs Business License Ordinance, Municipal Code Chapter 3.40 through 3.96, entitled “Business Tax”. Proposers may obtain the license after award but must do so promptly as the license will be routed with the contract for final signature.
