Scope of Services
The City of Pomona is seeking informal quotes from qualified companies to provide Electrician Services throughout the City in accordance with the Scope of Service or Specifications stated herein.

DO NOT REGISTER FOR THIS SOLICITATION THROUGH A THIRD PARTY OTHER THAN PLANETBIDS. BIDDERS MUST BE LISTED ON THE CITY OF POMONA'S "PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS LIST" ON PLANETBIDS IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS BID. IF BIDDERS FAIL TO REGISTER WITH PLANETBIDS PRIOR TO SUBMITTING A RESPONSE, THE CITY SHALL IMMEDIATELY REJECT ANY RESPONSE YOU SUBMIT IN REFERENCE TO THIS SOLICITATION.
Bidders must be listed on the city of Pomona’s "prospective bidders list" on PlanetBids in order to participate in this bid. If bidders fail to register with PlanetBids prior to submitting a response, the city shall immediately reject any response you submit in reference to this solicitation.
Per Section 2-971(2) of the Pomona City Code, any unauthorized contact by the Bidder during the bid process with an official or city employee, other than those shown on the bid, the Finance Director or Purchasing Manager, shall cause the Bidder to be immediately disqualified from participating in the bidding process.
Local Programs & Policies
A City of Pomona Business License is required, as well as, valid general liability and vehicle insurance, when (and if) delivering within City limits.
Bid Validity: Bids shall be valid for minimum of 180 days after the published Bid due date.
RESERVATION OF RIGHTS AND REJECTION OF BIDS
This solicitation does not commit the City to award a contract. The City reserves the right at its sole discretion to:
1. Reject responses received after the due date and time specified. The City will not return late submittals. Late submittals will be destroyed by the City 30 days after opening.
2. Cancel the entire solicitation at any time time, and re-advertise when determined to be in the City’s best interest.
3. Accept or reject any and all submittals, waive any minor errors, informalities, and procedures without penalty to the extent permitted by law.
4. Be the final judge as to which response is the most qualified.
5. Consider any of the following as non-responsive and subject to rejection for this solicitation:
a. Responses from Respondent that are not registered as a prospective bidder in PlanetBids for the City of Pomona for this specific solicitation;
b. Responses containing items not specified;
c. Responses containing incorrect items;
d. Responses that do not respond to items in the manner specified;
e. Responses received by in person, telephone, email or facsimile;
f. Responses that fail to specifically provide the information requested; and
g. Responses otherwise not compliant with the instructions and requirements.
