New River Gorge National Park & Preserve

Proposals from certified small business concerns only will be accepted for the New River Gorge National Park & Preserve, Project WV NP NERI 107(2), Solicitation Number 693C73-24-R-000010, located in Fayette County, West Virginia. The project consists of granular backfill, MSE wall construction, deep geotechnical patches, pipe culverts, inlets, manholes, curb and gutter, asphalt paved waterway, and guardrail replacement. The work includes roadway excavation, Mechanically Stabilized Earth (MSE) wall, welded wire face, Midwest Guardrail System (MGS) guardrail installation, asphalt concrete pavement removal, pipe culverts, inlets, manholes, curb and gutter, asphalt paved waterway, and other miscellaneous work. The project will be split into multiple work schedules/contract options, with the cost of the entire project expected to fall between $5,000,0000 and $10,000,000. Request For Proposal (RFP) documents should be issued on or about December 14, 2024. Proposal due date and location will

be specified on the SF 1442, Block 13a of the solicitation.Offerors will be required to submit qualifications related to their construction experience in MSE wall construction projects and work within short construction season. The solicitation will include further information on these requirements. This will be a lowest price technically acceptable solicitation. All eligible certified small business concerns (Offerors) will be invited to participate in a two-step RFP process. The two steps will include the submittal of two proposal packages; a technical proposal and a price proposal.
