This is a non-personal services contract to provide the Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic (EMT-P) Course for the William Beaumont Army Medical Center (WBAMC). The government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein. Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn, is responsible to the government. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, Contractor transportation, tools, materials, supervision, other items and non-personal services necessary to perform the EMT-P course for WBAMC as defined in this PWS except for those items specified as government-furnished property and services. The Contractor shall provide an EMT-P certification course consisting of no more than 25 weeks in-person (resident) course, that shall not exceed 171 days. The Contractor shall provide a virtual distance learning (DL) opportunity in the case of illness or emergency pending the student’s absence is during the didactive period of education. The Contractor provides retraining and retest opportunities for student who fail examinations. These retest options are available for only fifty percent of the exams, not to include the NREMT certification and psychomotor examinations. All courses shall have administration of the NREMT-P psychomotor examination, and remediation sessions for student failure. The purpose of training certification is to teach up to 32 individuals per year on the knowledge, technical skills, and clinical application necessary to operate as an NREMT paramedic in both a clinical, and prehospital field settings. Training location shall be within an 11-mile radius of WBAMC. See PWS in solicitation for full
