DEO hereby post the Technical Questions and Answers and Addendum N0. 1 to amend the calendars of events.
The Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) is requesting bids from highly qualified companies, developers, manufacturers, and contractors to create a pool of contractors to perform rehabilitation and replacement of Mobile/Manufactured Housing Units in compliance with local, Federal, and State statutory requirements for grants under the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (“HUD”) Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (“CDBG-DR”) program for the 2017 Florida event, Hurricane Irma, and future CDBG-DR allocations (the “Disasters”) within the contract period.Only contractors that respond to this solicitation and that meet the qualifications set forth herein will be included in the pool of contractors. Contractors that are part of a pool of contractors created by previous solicitations are not automatically included in the pool that will be created by this solicitation; such contractors must apply to this solicitation and meet the qualifications set forth herein to be included in the pool of contractors created by this solicitation.Failure to file a protest within the time prescribed in section 120.57(3), Florida Statutes, or failure to post the bond or other security required by law within the time allowed for filing a bond shall constitute a waiver of proceedings under chapter 120, Florida Statutes."
