William M Steger - Fire Alarm & Fire Sprinkler System Upgrade

The General Services Administration, Public Buildings Service, Greater Southwest Region 7, Acquisition Management Division, intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the upgrades to the Fire Protection System which includes Fire Alarm Replacement and Fire Sprinkler Retrofit to both buildings at the William M. Steger Federal Building and Courthouse; 211 W. Ferguson St., Tyler, TX 75702.This procurement is a 100% Small Business Set-aside. The estimated construction cost magnitude for all work under this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 238220 Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors with a size standard of $19 Million. All responsible, qualified firms are encouraged to submit a proposal.The source selection process and criteria will be based on the Best Value trade-off methodology. A pre-proposal conference will be held May 9, 2024, at 11:00 AM CDT. A site visit

will be conducted on May 16, 2024, at 1:00 PM CDT. Details pertaining to the site visit are enclosed in the solicitation. Note: This will be the only conference and site visit scheduled. No additional conference calls or site visits will be scheduled.Interested firms are encouraged to attend the site visit.
