RFQ #SHARC-540 - TROTEC SPEEDY 400 LASER ENGRAVER & CUTTER

The County of Riverside Purchasing, on behalf of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office Corrections Bureau, is soliciting quotations for the Trotec Speedy 400 Laser Engraver and Cutter as described in Exhibit “A” Product Specifications, on page seven of this Request for Quote (RFQ) to support the function and operation of the Sheriff’s Inmate Training and Education Bureau (SITE-B). The Sheriff’s Office is the fourth largest in California, covering over 7,300 square miles, and operates five adult facilities. SITE-B operates within the Corrections Division and offers programs and services that help inmates with individualized reentry and transition needs. It also contributes tovocational and occupational skills, job readiness, and adult basic education. This RFQ aims to obtain competitive quotes from qualified bidders to provide one (1) Trotec Speedy 400 ® laser engraver and cutter from the lowest and most responsible, responsive bidder. However, the Sheriff's Office may award this RFQ

based on best value for fit, form, and functionality to meet the needs of the Corrections Division SITE-B. In this instance, the lowest bidder may not be the only determining factor before the final award is granted. Bidders should submit their lowest and best pricing initially. All price quotes should include shipping and handling, delivery, fuel surcharge, and freight. The Sheriff’s Office has selected the Trotec Speedy 400 Laser Engraver and Cutter, detailed in Exhibit “A,” as the standard specification for this bid solicitation. Failure to meet specifications will result in disqualification from the bid process.
