THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL, QUOTATION OR BID.  NO SOLICITATION IS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE.The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District is conducting market research to identify sources (Small Businesses and Other-than-Small Businesses) that have the knowledge, skills and capability to perform the work concerning the potential project described below. Responses are requested only from: POTENTIAL PRIME CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTORS WITH COMPANY BONDING CAPABILITY (SINGLE JOB) OF AT LEAST $260M. The magnitude of construction for this project is projected to be between $200M-$275M.Project Description: This upcoming solicitation will be a two-phase design-build (DB) RFP using trade-off source section procedures under the Best-value continuum.Non-Kinetic Operations Facility, Offutt AFB, NE:  Construct an approximately 420,000 square foot, three-story facility.  The facility will house several intelligence squadrons, training and maintenance squadrons, and reconnaissance squadrons.  Included within the facility will be all the spaces necessary to fully train, mission plan, and execute flying operations which include spaces such as a step desk, administrative spaces, simulator lab, classrooms, small and mass briefing rooms, telecommunication rooms, loading dock with a destruction area, and freight elevator.  The facility will include substantial spaces built to ICD 705 standards, raised floors throughout, progressive collapse avoidance design, and a mechanical penthouse.   Construction to include site preparations, utility infrastructure, connection to an existing microgrid backup power generation system, new parking, and road realignment.Defense Courier Station, Offutt AFB, NE: Construct an approximately 5,000 square foot facility to serve as a shipping and receiving facility.  The facility will include provisions to fully enclose a delivery truck, with associated exhaust system, space built to ICD 705, administrative and customer service spaces.  Construction to include site preparations, utility infrastructure, and parking.Project Duration: 1,620 Calendar Days from construction NTP.Submission Details:All interested, capable, qualified (under NAICS code 236220) and responsive contractors are encouraged to reply to this market survey request.
