Project Description:The Board desires to reduce complexity, support requirements, and long-term cost while eliminating IT infrastructure sprawl. Compute and Storage systems that are currently end-of-life or in the late stage of their lifecycle will be replaced as part of this server purchase RFP.
The Board expects the vendor awarded the RFP will increase agility and resource utilization rates by providing equipment to support varying workloads and customer demands.

Board desires to leverage and augment its existing investments in server, virtualization, and network resources as well as extensive staff training and knowledge of these platforms and technologies.
