Work under this contract requires a contractor to provide labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision necessary for the replacement of basement and first floor windows and associated work at Rollins School. Bidders may obtain bid documents online at www.cityoflawrence.com/bids PRE-BID WALKTHROUGH Site Visit: Each bidder is advised to visit the sites of the equipment and proposed work prior to submitting their bid. The purpose of this visit is to acquaint the bidders with any and all conditions at the site and to identify, inspect and inventory the equipment. Interested bidders shall meet at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 18, 2021 at the Rollins School at 451 Howard Street Lawrence, MA 01840. The Contractor shall not be relieved from assuming all responsibility for properly estimating the difficulties and

the cost of performing the services required with this IFB because of failure to investigate the conditions or become acquainted with all the information concerning the services to be performed. Bid Open Date: Pursuant to M.G.L. Chapter 149, the City of Lawrence seeks bids from qualified vendors interested in the window replacement at the Rollins School. Bidder shall submit one (1) copy of their bid in a sealed envelope and properly labeled as “Rollins School Window Replacement Phase 2”. General bids are due at 2:00pm Thursday, January 27, 2022, at the Lawrence City Hall, ATTN: Jannelvy Martinez - Purchasing Agent, 200 Common Street, Room 301, Lawrence MA, 01840. Late bids will not be considered. Addendum #1 - 1.24.2022
