DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENTThe Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supplies as specified to perform Park Attendant services for Sugar Bottom Recreation Areas, Coralville Lake Project, Iowa, in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and other Attachments.NOTE: The Contractor is required to live onsite for the period of performance each year.The solicitation will be open for two weeks, closing on 15 February 2023. Any questions must be received by 07 February 2023 AT 2:00 PM CST, and will be answered via an amendment to the solicitation here on sam.gov. See attached Performance Work Statement that includes the anticipated contract schedule and other important information.DESCRIPTION OF LOCATIONCoralville Lake is located between Iowa City and Cedar Rapids, Iowa.The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers manages Coralville Lake as a multiple use project providing primary benefits in flood control and low flow augmentation, and secondary benefits in recreation, fish and wildlife management, and forest management. Coralville Lake provides many recreational opportunities. Activities include boating, swimming, picnicking, hiking, mountain biking, disc golf, bird watching, Devonian Fossil Gorge and camping. Campgrounds at Coralville Lake include three campgrounds with just over 500 campsites. The campsite types range from primitive tent to full hook-ups with water, sewer and electricity at the sites.
