INTRODUCTION The Bay County Board of County Commissioners is seeking proposals from qualified individuals or firms to provide residential and commercial building inspection and plan review services to augment the County’s responsibility for enforcement of the Florida Building Code and applicable related regulations, laws and rules on building services within the unincorporated Bay County areas. The intent of this contract is to have available one or more individuals or firms under contract with qualified staff with a guaranteed hourly rate pricing. Therefore, this contract may be awarded to multiple vendors. It is the sole responsibility of the Respondent to ensure that the Proposal is received on time. ANY PROPOSAL RECEIVED AFTER THE SPECIFIED TIME WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. Bids for this solicitation will be accepted electronically via the Purchasing Department's Bonfire Web portal until 2:00 p.m., local time, on the bid date. SEALED PAPER Proposals shall be delivered to the Board of County Commissioners Purchasing Department, at 840 W. 11 th Street, Suite 2500, Panama City, Florida 32401, no later than the proposal deadline. Respondents shall submit one (1) original proposal package and one (1) electronic proposal package. Proposals shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the title of the work, the name of the respondent, and the date for opening. It is the sole responsibility of the respondent to ensure that the proposal is received on time.
