The Community Foundation of St. Joseph Countyis a charitable endowment that aims to improve the lives of the citizens of Indiana’s St. Joseph County through the core values of excellence, perseverance, compassion, wisdom, leadership, and legacy.The foundation invites applications for its Senior Living grants program, which supports quality programs and services to help local seniors remain healthy, safe, independent, and engaged. The program awards grants for senior housing, broadly defined, and in support of efforts that fulfill basic needs and promote health, quality of care, community engagement, and access to community resources, especially for seniors most in need of assistance. Funding priorities include aging in place; home- and community-based services; professional development, education, and training; programs/projects serving high-need, vulnerable seniors from low-income backgrounds; and quality of care.Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) organizations operating in St. Joseph County, Indiana, and nonprofit educational institutions and other public agencies (agencies of the state, county, or local government) in the county.For complete program guidelines and application instructions, see the Community Foundation of St. Joseph County
